Day nine of my twelve days of semester break and today is about going to the hospital, and a little bit of tampuhan between my parents.
The whole day today, we spent our glorious day at the national university hospital, which happens to be the Philippine General Hospital. We were there for so many reasons, a follow-up to my mother's doctor about her soon and second attempt of operation. We needed to see the pathologist to borrow some slides from her first operation (well, I'm not sure!) and we need to visit the son of our family friend. He is also like Kuya Bong, a special child but his case is totally different than my brother. While my brother is as peaceful as a dove, our friend's son is a bit hyper. He had an operation in his teeth but because of his hyperactivity, he was needed to undergo further operation, meaning, he was needed to have anesthesia and the operation should be done at the operating room. Today, they only got checked out from PGH.
On our own business, we went to FMAB. It was really a beautiful hospital, imagine inside of the not-so-good-looking PGH (I remember their spooky elevators, murky parking lot, dark hallways and wildlife-style garden), there is FMAB, an only privatized part of the government-owned hospital, just near the main entrance. I don't want to elaborate more about our stay there but my mom needs to be there for some follow-up. We had a little argument because of her changing decisions without asking permission (hehehehe!). She will tell me she wants to go to this place, then just after a while, she wants to go here, and after that, she wants to go there. Grrr! We just went home; I was thinking of going to Mall of Asia, with my Kuya Bong.
Both of my parents are not in speaking terms because of a not-so-big-deal issue regarding the cooking of my dad. My mother uttered some nasty comments about his cooking that made him a bit angry or in our own lingo topak. It was actually yesterday when they started their ceasefire, and until now, they're not having just a bit conversation because my father is still in a bad mood. Poor them!
Anyway, nothing so special had happened today. It is just a matter of staying inside of the hospital and sitting in front of you. I've been doing this for the past nine days and I need to do some of my stuff for school like IEP, progress report, summary and grading sheets, and so much more.
Starting November 8, I am now going back to my department which is SpEd (ayayay!).
Toodles!!!
