Handaaaaaaaaarap and Other Brouhahas

This was one of the dreadful weeks I ever had for so many reasons. This past week was my most numerous late comings in work, the astonishing practices of the Investiture and bonding time with friends and colleagues.

HANDA HARAP, BOY SCOUT CLAP - And everything about the Scouting and Boy Scouts. When I was still in grade school, we never had a chance to be have Scouting as our extra curricular activity, even as a subject. I don't remember wearing an alampay or a bullcap and even wearing Types A and B uniforms of the Boy Scouts. I never known the labindalawang Batas ng Iskawt. And I don't had any idea about the investiture. I only got my first-hand experience doing the Scouting when I entered in our institution. Three years ago when I did the becoming of a Scout Master, in which I never had any background with it. But I really had so much fun, telling the whole people that I am a Scout Master. When November comes, I know and we know from the Grade School Department that we will have the dreadful rounds of practices, rounds of reminding students and rounds of disciplinary actions. Knowing the kids right now, we don't know if they are now young men and ladies or still a bit childish. I really had a not-so-good start this morning because it is one-hell-of-a-problem. I forgot to bring two things that is needed for the investiture, my khaki pants (yes, I forgot to bring pants!) and my scarf! I messaged all of my colleagues and luckily, we made it! I was really ashamed to them because it was really my first time to happen on a certain event knowing myself every time I do hosting jobs, I am always end up really prepared chbut not with today. Maybe because I had a hang-over (though I'm not drinking) of our weekly galaan sa MOA with my buddies Sir Andrew and Sir Yuan! Yes, starting next I will never ever do that. If I will have something to do, I need to plan ahead of it. After all, thanks to my former student Charles and my friend Sir Chris, I was able to attend the investiture and made it without a fuss. Charles lent me his Type A uniform pants and Sir Chris lent me his scarf with the carabao. Since Sir Chris was actually a trained Scout, he once told me that I need to wear shorts, instead of pants. In Boy Scouts, the Scout Master is always wearing short while doing the investiture or camping of the Boy Scout because it is highly regarded and required. We finished the investiture in a breeze and afterwards we had some activities. I love the games that we prepared for the kids and those includes the tissue, the thinkers and the doers and the illustration board bridge. We ended our day happily with our spaghettis and carbonaras.

PINOY BIG BROTHER UNLIMITED - I am really having a full blast every time I watch these housemates of Big Brother. Coincidentally, I am reading 1984 by George Orwell and that is the novel loosely based to the said reality show who is still being pegged around the world. And I am so much in love with this season's most-coveted stories of all housemates. I like the personalities (since I am watching the UnliNight episodes) of Slater (aside from being pogi), Tin (the daughter of Alvin Patrimonio), Joya, Biggel, Casey, Divine (who really looks like Justin Bieber and she's actually a proud tommy girl), Wendy and Luz because they are from Muntinlupa (hahaha), Seth (because of his Filipinization!) and Jerico (because of his charm and wit). I can't have any chances of watching the UnliDay episodes because I still have a work, but I'm looking forward to watch it every afternoon, well, soon. As of this night, they are now going to have their first eviction night, and hopefully Kigoy deserves to stay, Slater of course deserves to stay and Tol is still needed inside. I can't register Diane on my mind every time I watch the show, so maybe she can go out (no offense to her family, anyways who among of her family will read my post?). I can't wait for the next gimmicks of Kuya and his well-loved house in Quezon City (hehehehe!)

I THOUGHT ALLERGIC RHINITIS BUT IT WAS SINUSITIS - And yes, I asked Sydney if she could give an anti-histamine for my alleged allergic rhinitis sabotage but I asked a wrong medicine. I also did my own diagnosis that this sneezes and the coughs are all about my allergic rhinitis but it is sinusitis. Well, I don't have any much information with medical terms and disorders but I noticed so many things about having sinusitis. I always have watery mucus (eeew!) and my upper nose was a bit swollen. I got so panicked I went to Sydney to check what is it about. Now, all I could say that it is A-ok! I really need to drink plenty of water, or if not plenty, I could drink all!

3 LATE COMINGS IN ONE WEEK - It was a disaster! I started being a late comer last Monday because I really had (and always be) a hard time fetching an FX or a jeep going to Sucat. It really makes my travelling time going to school faster so instead of going to Alabang, I'm just waiting in vain in front of our village just to seek some modes of transportation to my destination, which is Lopez. Tuesday, I also got late because of the tricycles. And last Friday, I also got late because I was truly inspired and happy that I already received something! I am really expecting a memo from our bosses but still, I'm not having it. Beginning Monday, I will surely go to school as possible to not make myself too embarrassing!

TODO BROTHERLY BONDING MOMENTS - After my stint to the SpEd Department of our institution, I usually go either to my brother Sir Yuan or to my best buddy Sir Andrew or sometimes to my dear friend T. Tere just to have some chit chats and some sorts. That is the only time that we could have some good and nice brotherly bonding moment because of our hectic schedules and stressful works. The three of us sometimes go to Baclaran for the novena and at the Mall of Asia for some quality bonding time. We share almost everything from the gifts that we want to buy for Christmas, to Sir Yuan's thesis defense, to Sir Andrew's wacky classes and to my own perspective of life (hehehehe as if!). We also even have some kuwentuhans about our crushes but what matters is we are all in love... with love! We hope that our friendship stays the same because I, myself, value it so much.

That's it for this week. I don't want to have another embarrassing one because of not focusing. It seems that I should be shouted by another teacher for not focusing on the things that I need to do.

Thanks for reading (I'm not sure if you're reading it?) my blog. I never thought that I would have more than 3,000 hits (and yes, I'm not sure if you're reading it?).

Lord God, thanks for the blessings! And I mean BLESSINGS! I love you so much!

My wish last Simbang Gabi is to have you know... One month to go, now, where the hell are you???

Toodles!!!
