Now with my brouhahas. Here are some of the best and the worst scenarios of this past week. (Hehehehe, what's so wrong with those trivias?).
KATARUNGAN PARA KAY ANNE CURTIS - I just only saw this through my love's Twitter account (@annecurtissmith). She was about to perform in front of the students of University of Santo Tomas, for their upcoming USTv Students Awards, when some people from GMA 7 dislodged her on stage. Due to some time constraints and changes of the continuity of the program, Anne might not have her chance to sing. According to some news, Anne just wanted to say "Hi" to the students but still GMA 7 people did not allow her to get up on stage. Sayang! She was becoming of a singer, an entertainer to be exact but some people did not give her chance to make the people be happy and inspired (meh ganoon?). Anyways, the day after that incident, she wowed the whole Smart Araneta Coliseum, as she was part of a concert with Martin Nievera and Side A. She was really an ingenue in singing!
NEW PREDICAMENT - I could say that I was able to put myself in the map of the Special Education department and its likes. Before, to tell you honestly, I was really having a hard time knowing myself that I am teaching these students who has special needs. After a few moments, I learned how to mingle, how to associate and how to evaluate some students with special needs. Even though I don't have a formal training, I could say that I am now imbibing some ideas and even methodologies in Special Education. I want to pursue my English career, but still I want also to know more about Special Education. But this one predicament that I only heard recently, made me a bit worried and at the same time, nervous. If you have read (if you're really reading my blog), I made a blind item about this parent who nags the teachers in our department in our institution. And she hadn't stopped yet, she wanted her son to be in our class, the Intermediate. Honestly speaking and not being too arrogant, our group seems not having any troubles and problems. The high school department really have something wrong because of her. Yes, the only reason is because of her. Nowadays, she wanted her son to be included in our class. We had a petty, simple argument with my co-teacher and partner because I really do not like the idea of putting that kid to our group. He gave me some conditions, but my own opinion is being mattered! I don't like the idea and I don't want to teach her son. And yes, that's my new predicament, new student, new adjustment and new predicament!
NOW PUT YOUR HANDS UP, THIS IS A HOLD-UP - I remember this line when Ate Gay sang this, together with a tune of Single Ladies (Now Put Your Hands Up), on Comedy Bar, way way back last year. It really made my tummy ached so hard because it was so funny. But with this brouhaha, in a way this is not a good kind of a joke. My dude was a recent victim of some hold-uppers in the metro. He was already going home coming from De La Salle University when three men announced a hold-up to him. A double-bladed knife was warmly pointed to his chest and a probable strike will happen if he fought back. He gave some of his material things, all of them are pricey things, and afterwards, just left the jeepney and had a wonderful life with it. My friend was left, traumatized and wasn't able to think properly. I knew it when I logged on my Facebook account. Few hours before that incident, I was the last person who was with him. I don't know if it is weird but the day before that happened, I was having an instinct that something might happen to him. I really don't know; I don't have any powers. That time, I brought my new "baby" and going home to Alabang was really scary. Seems like somebody might assault me and of course, all I have to do is to give it away. I said to myself that I will no longer bringing it to somewhere else. Really, really scary. My dude wasn't able to come to school for two days because of his trauma, which is understandable especially to someone who had met the Kamatayan. For him, this is already his second life. For us, all we have to do is to be careful, and prayerful!
That's it for this week. I wasn't able to write the best things or the positive things because for the past few days, no other positive things was happened. I keep on praying that as much as possible, every person in this planet should have at least three positive news from any sorts.
Lord God, thank you for being glorious to my family and I. Continue to love us because we are superbly in love with You! Alleluia!
Toodles!
